  • Smooth Full Grain Leather, Water Repellent and Unlined
  • Comfort Cushion Insole and Bontex Footboard
  • High Abrasive and Vulcanized
  • Rubber Outsole
  • Goodyear Welt Construction

The boot is attached to a plastic Goodyear welt. So, you’re going to get a lot of wear out of this boot. Since this is a work boot, expect all the comfort and durability you will get in a boot at this price range.

Single piece leather, a nice little collar across the top that gives you a little extra cushion so that nothing cuts in. The smooth full grain leather gives it a nice classic heritage type look.

The King Rock Landscaper Pro is an unlined boot. So, there’s no Cambrelle inside there. There’s no extra material that’s going to make this a really hot boot on really hot summer days.

The sole can resist heat up to 350°F. If you are looking for a work boot that will be comfortable in summer, this is the one.

Water Repellent

It has water repellent leather. It’s not waterproof. But a leather-like this once, you’ve worn it for a few weeks, and you soften it up.

You start adding mink oil and silicone to this especially around the seams and all the stitches; you’re going to do pretty well with water. In our recent article, Terra Spider Shoes Review, what we found is that the terra spider has a really good water resistant capacity. You should consider checking that out.

Heel-To-Toe Comfort Cushioning Insole

Now inside this boot. So there’s no removable footbed. It has the Bontex Footboard. It’s an embedded insole. Now, in my opinion, that’s never a good thing.

But what’s really nice about this boot is that this is a soft toe work boot.

There’s a lot of space inside the toe section and sufficient room for your foot to breath. Which also means. You can put an aftermarket insole inside here. And it’s going to be more comfortable.

Bontex Footboard

For stability, it comes with a steel shank with this footboard. It also increases the durability of this footwear.
Vulcanized Rubber Outsole

The Vulcanized Rubber Outsole is flexible and lightweight. The gum rubber sole is a really nice touch. This is an older type of material sole that has been time-tested and proven to wear really well.

A nice defined heel in this boot also means that you can actually kick a shovel with this boot and you don’t have to worry about it slipping past that point.

Size & Fit

Now, about the size and fit, if you wear a size 10 in you wolverine 1000 mile boot or even the golden fox chukka boot, you can go with a size 10. It runs a bit large but inside, it’s very roomy.

Not lengthwise though. I’m talking about the width. It has a large space in the toe box. It’s not steel toe, so there’s no hard-protective material there.

Wrapping It Up

All in all, The King Rocks Landscaper Pro, for what you’re going to pay for this boot, you’re going to get your money out of it. Now, on the other end of this being a work boot, this also makes a pretty nice casual after work boot too.

It’s got that good classic look with the brass eyelets and the brass speed laces in this maroon type colored leather. It’s not a bad fashion.

So, that’s the King Rocks Landscaper Pro Boot Review. Great looking boot. The gum sole is comfortable and looks amazing. And, most important of them all, your feet won’t get hot.
